How to de-squeak oak floors
Q: I have a two-level heritage home with the original oak hardwood flooring on the main floor and a finished basement suite underneath. My oak flooring is squeaking and the wood also seems very dry. I'm wondering how to remedy this without ruining it. Is there a product I can apply to remedy the squeaks? Thanks, Dee, Vancouver
